My ClickBank Screenshot

Posted: May 15th, 2008 | Filed under: Internet Marketing | 10 Comments »

Image NameMan, I’m just raking it in these days. ClickBank has been gooood to me! Okay, maybe not to the degree in the screenshot below. I was in the ClickBank Success Forum earlier and I noticed someone showing just how easy it is to edit your stats and take a screenshot so I created the one below for a fun example. It just goes to show how easy it is to fake income earnings online and that a lot of what you read online, especially in the Internet marketing field is a flat out lie. However, I think when someone has their name and reputation on the line it does add more credibility to an earnings screenshot, what do you think?

Fake ClickBank Stats

So how easy is it to edit your ClickBank stats? It’s as simple as logging into your ClickBank account, pasting the code below into your browser, and start making up some numbers.

javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0

Other than ripping people off with fake earnings statements what could this little trick be useful for? How about creating a goal screenshot for yourself. If you want to earn $300 a day or $3500 a day with ClickBank create a realistic looking earnings screenshot with that amount and use it for motivation. :)

    Hi Miles,

Great Post! Yeah, unfortunately there’s a lot of charlatans out there making bogus screen shots.

Take the above screen shot and put it on your dream board! :) That’s a legit and very powerful way to use it.

Using it for motivation is a good idea.

I use an excel spreadsheet to track my stats and I added in the number of sales necessary for me to reach my desired income. I look at it from time to time for motivation.

Hey Miles, can I borrow a few million for a couple days. It should only set you back two or three days.

Interesting. I tried logging in and pasting that code but it didn’t seem to work. All that happened was another screen popped up saying page unavailable or something. How exactly do I make that code work? I really want to see what it would look like to have $1,000,000 in my clickbank account. Thanks

Hey Paul, just paste it in your URL browser and reload the page, that’s how I did it. Unless ClickBank implemented something to prevent this I’m not really sure why it wouldn’t work for you. I’m using FireFox, not sure if that makes a difference or not.
