It just so happens that I live about 15 minutes from Joel Comm’s office in Loveland, CO. So a few weeks ago I paid him a visit and he took me out to lunch. He gave me a tour of his offices and I was blown away by how big his business really is. He has a secretary, President, a full-time dedicated video person, web designers, and several other people working for him. His office was very nice and our lunch was great, but what impressed me the most was Joel’s ‘action’ orientation. If you visit Joel’s blog you’ll see he’s always up to something and he’s got a ton of projects going on. What’s even just as impressive is he started out like many of us, by himself on his computer. He’s had several failed ventures, and still does from time to time, but I think what separates him from most is his ability to take consistent action.

You see, when I first met Joel it was in March of 2007, we were having dinner and Joel and his JV partner Eric Holmlund were trying to come up with a name for an Internet based reality show they were thinking about creating. I can’t remember if they came up with a name that evening or not, but then in August (only 5 months later!) his reality show ‘The Next Internet Millionaire‘ was up and running. It was then that I realized Joel was truly a man on the move, wasting no time in implementing and launching a project.

Joel has made millions, yes, that’s $1,000,000.00’s selling products online. One of Joel and Eric’s first joint ventures was Instant Adsense Templates, a product full of templates you could use to create your own Adsense websites. Joel was telling me that this product alone has made them somewhere over 2 Milliion dollars! Just this single product!
