Internet Marketing and Web Design Books
This Christmas season I received some fantastic books both on Web Design and Internet Marketing. Web Design is a huge hobby of mine, and of course Internet marketing is my full time job/passion. Therefore my Amazon Wishlist was chock-full of books relating to both web design and Internet marketing. I thought I would share the books I received this Christmas with you as I have began reading them all and find them to be extremely beneficial for anyone marketing online. Here they are in no particular order…
- The Irresistible Offer by Mark Joyner
– One of the great Internet marketers of our day. This book will change the way I present any offer from now on. If you are selling your own product online then this book is a must have. In it, Mark outlines exactly what every offer needs in order to be “Irresistible” and provides his formula for creating this type of offer.
- No B.S. Business Success by Dan Kennedy
– I’ve already wrote about Dan’s book No B.S. Sales Success, and must say that anything buy this infamous marketer is a “must-have”. This book is perfect for those who are wanting or already are living the Internet lifestyle by working for themselves.
- Self-Employed Tax Solutions by June Walker
– Yes, taxes are a fact of life here in the U.S. and if you are in business for yourself you better be on top of them. This book provides a great starting point for anyone setting up their business or those who want to learn better ways to manager their business in order to save more on taxes and make sure all their bases are covered.
- No B.S. Time Management for Entrepreneurs by Dan Kennedy
– Yes, another Dan Kennedy book. He is truly one amazing author and to reach his level of success he has developed a lifetime of techniques for managing his time. This book will provide you with the tools, ideas, and motivation to get the most out of your time. After all, time is our only limited resource and must be managed efficiently in order to get the most out of life. If you only get one book off this list, get this one!
- Bulletproof Web Design by Dan Cederholm
– A great book for those wanting to make their websites work correctly across all platforms and browsers. Using XHTML and CSS standards, this book outlines how to design your websites in a way that provides the best user experience for all users. As XHTML and CSS are adopted as the new standards of web design it’s essential that you start learning them now.
- Build Your Own Standards Compliant Website Using Dreamweaver 8 by Rachel Andrew
– Another XHTML standards book. This one is for those using the latest version of Dreamweaver and provides over 300 pages of examples and instruction. If you use Dreamweaver and want to take your web design to the next level then this book may be for you.
Knowledge is always one of the best investments you can make, especially when it comes to your business. Just a handful of ideas can dramatically change the way you do business and ultimately how successful you become. Take some time to invest in yourself by reading a book about your business.
