One of the tools I use for keyword suggestions and information is Good Keywords. This tool allows you to type in a word and get multiple related keyword phrases back along with their estimated amount of searches per month. It’s completely free, works on Windows, and is definitely worth checking out, no catch.

In addition to keyword suggestion, this tool allows you to generate misspellings, build keyword phrases, and has a keyword organizer. Good Keywords allows you to do your keyword research using Overture, Yahoo, or Teoma and the search amounts are based on those enigines.

How do I use this tool? Well, for deep keyword research I recommend Wordtracker, however this tool is great for finding general more popular words and phrases and I use it for that purpose. For example, if I am writing an article for this blog perhaps, I will do a quick search on popular keyword phrases to find suggestions for my title and phrase targeting, if I find that one term gets twice as many searches as another then I may target my article for that keyword prhase.

It’s been strange but my Google PageRank (or PR for short) has been very wishy washy lately. I will look at some of my pages such as Recommend Blogs and sometimes it will have a PR5 and other times a PR0. At first I thought it was just something on my end but then I found the Future Pagerank Tool.

Well if you visit that link you will see that the Future Pagerank tool will tell you the PR of your page according to all the Google data centers. It appears that some of the data centers keep my PR at 0 and some at 5 and it changes throughout the day. So all I can say now is that PR for my pages change from the lowest to highest depending on what’s going on that day, perhaps once another PR update comes out my pagerank will stabilize.

The great part about this tool is that when Google is doing a PR update you can get a better glimpse of what is going on. Of course in my case at least I can see that most of the data centers are keeping me at a high PR and I was able to determine the effect wasn’t caused on my end.
