If you aren’t already collecting emails from your customers then you should begin doing so immediately. If your site doesn’t sell anything then start a simple newsletter or autoresponder series and begin collecting emails that way. A newsletter or series of tips or advice using an autoresponder is very easy to set up and is worth thousands of dollars to you over the course of your online marketing career. The following three ways to increase your website profits are all relative to you having some kind of email autoresponder in place.

1. Create recommendation pages. For example, with my Audio Maker Pro website I have a lot of customers who also need a microphone, or a better microphone then they already have. I am in the process of creating an additional page with about 5 microphones using affiliate links along with a brief description of each one. I will then email all my existing customers letting them know about the microphone recommendation page and put the email into an autoresponder for all new customers. This takes all of one hour to execute yet it adds an additional doorway of income potential for years to come.
2. Send out your best offers more than once! What? Am I crazy? Am I really telling you that the best offers you have sent out to your newsletter should be sent out again? Yes! Why not? I have been found guilty of sending out the same offer to a list over 10 times! Ouch! But I make money each and every time! Do people get angry? Nope, some may unsubscribe if you do it too many times, but if you change the offer and wording slightly and space out the timing between mailings you should be fine. If someone gets the same offer twice aren’t they more likely to buy given the second chance? Now granted if you do it more than once don’t do it one week later, wait a while. I usually wait a few months or even more on some offers. The trick is to find great offers for your newsletter that have been proven to make you a profit, then send them out again after your subscriber has long forgotten about it.
3. Create a news page using RSS feeds. Using this method I have created an entirely hands free completely automated and currently updated newsletter that I don’t have to touch all year long. Basically I have created a current news page related to the topic of my newsletter. On that page I place Google Adsense, various affiliate links, and news. The news is all fed into the page using RSS feeds (with permission) and is updated every day. What does this do? Well, I basically set up an autoresponder that sends out to my list every two weeks. The email leads them to the news page. Every two weeks when my subscriber receives the email and then goes to the news page all the news stories will be different and updated because I am using RSS to create them. Sometimes I will include articles on these pages just to add extra value, but your options are limitless. This method is a bit more complicated and requires a bit of knowledge about RSS and how to display RSS feeds on your webpage. However, once you figure it out and set it up you have yet another automated income stream flowing into your bank account!
